The rank of Captain-General is one of the most powerful military ranks appointed in the Imperium of Man. It renders full responsibility for the defence of the Sol System, Terra, the Imperial Palace and ultimately the Golden Throne and the Emperor himself. Claims have been made that Trajann Valoris is the greatest of all warriors to have the title of Captain-General since the Emperor rode the galaxy. He has proven himself to be both dynamic and effective,  these qualities make him ideally suited to lead in this unprecedented age of fury.

The Captain-General Trajann Valoris is a multi-part plastic kit and his armour is quite elaborate even for a Custodes. He also wears the Castellan Plate, which is an ancient suit of power armour which has a heraldic tilting plate adorned by an eagle’s head emblem with large feathers. His cloak is made from the hide of a lion woven through with adamantine thread. He wears the lion’s head and front paws draped over his right shoulder. His scowling face is framed by an auramite halo, he wears a suit covered in the kind of ornate, sculpted details that is unique to the Adeptus Custodes where eagles, gemstones and filigree litter every surface. In his right hand he holds his main weapon the Watcher’s Axe, this enormous weapon incorporates a ferocious master-crafted bolt weapon, the Eagle’s Scream. In addition he also carries a misericordia together with the ancient relic on his belt: The Moment Shackle.
