Description

The Arkanaut Ironclad is the crown jewel of any fleet, as such it is a majestic airship. Bristling with weaponry and bearing huge cargo holds that are laden with aether-gold or loaded with Arkanaut Companies or Grundstok Thunderers in times of war. The Arkanaut Ironclad has come to being due to the advancements made by the Kharadron’s engrineers and is to date their biggest construction.  Its hull is clad in layer upon layer of riveted iron plated armour and is armed to deliver fearsome volleys of aether-shot, bombs and torpedoes upon anything brave or foolish enough to get between the Kharadron Overlords and aether-gold.

This multi-part plastic kit allows you to assemble an Arkanaut Ironclad. Due to its status as the flagship of a Kharadron skyfleet, it is an impressively sized model, and covered in weaponry. It can be armed with:

• A great sky cannon
• A great skyhook
• A aethermatic volley gun
• Aethershot carbines
• Supremacy mine
• Aethershock torpedoes
• Detonation drills
• Fragmentation charges
• Grudgesettler bombs attached to the hull

The body of the ship is held aloft by a massive metal dirigible bedecked in detailed pipework and fittings. it can be assembled with a crow’s nest can feature either:

• A navigator

or

• Signaller Kharadron with their own telescope and light box

Even more so there is a wealth of rigging, bomb racks, ladders and various ship themed items to place wherever you’d like on the model. It’s covered in aerofoils which can be positioned to show the direction of travel of the vessel as well as a complex-looking system of cogs that move the rudder. The Arkanaut Ironclad crew consists of:

• A captain standing at the ship’s wheel
• An endrinrigger with various tools hanging off the side, fixing an important leak
• A gunner to stand at the main weapon
• As well as the Navigator or Signaller mentioned above

Supplied unpainted and requires assembly with a Citadel 170mm Round base and 50mm ball and socket flying stem.
