Alchemist Workshop respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your Personal Data. We want to be transparent with you about how we collect and use your Personal Data in making available this website (“Site”) and providing our services.

We want to make sure you know what happens to your Personal Data, what your rights are and how the law protects you. The Privacy Policy is intended to meet our duties of Transparency under the “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”.

We will post any modifications or changes to this Privacy Policy on this page, unless we specifically notify you otherwise.

The type of personal information we collect

Personal data is defined as information about an individual, from which that individual is either directly identified or indirectly identified.

We currently collect and process the following categories of personal data:

Payment card details will be collected directly by our Payment Processor and we won’t receive them. However, in certain limited cases, we may receive bank account details in the context of administering refunds.
Technical dataInternet protocol (IP) address, data about log-ins (e.g., the time when a log-in occurs), browser type and version, time zone setting and city-level location (inferred from your IP address), browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website or use our services.

We do not collect any special categories of personal data, nor is any data transferred outside of the European Economic Area.

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

We obtain information about you when you use our website, buy from us, or contact us in any way (email, social media, telephone, mail).

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  • To manage orders and returns (including processing payments and refunds);
  • To provide customer support; and
  • Providing any other elements of Alchemists Workshop’s services to you.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

  • Where we need to perform a contract, we are about to enter into or have entered into with you (“Contractual Necessity”); and
  • Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation (“Compliance with Law”).

We are committed to only keeping your Personal Data for so long as we reasonably need to use it for the purposes set out above. This general rule applies unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, for regulatory purposes). Once the retention period has passed, all data is securely destroyed.

Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
